We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
