And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
