We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the rest [i.e. the towns of Sodom at the place of the Dead Sea (now) in Palestine].
