We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
