And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
