And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 he was among Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
