SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
