Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 yet you ignore it. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 When thy Lord said to the angels, 'See, I am creating a mortal of a clay. 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 He (Allah) said: 'iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself towards that which I have created with My Hands? Have you become too proud, or are you among the grand' 75 Said Iblis, “I am better than him; You made me from fire, and You have created him from clay!” 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 “Until the time of the known day.” 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
