Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 yet you ignore it. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 but not Satan, who was too proud. He became one of those who deny the truth. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 Said he, 'My Lord, respite me till the day they shall be raised.' 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
