Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I am only a warner, and there is no Allah save Allah, the One, the Absolute, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So all the angels prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 (Allah) said: "Then get thee out from here: for thou art rejected, accursed. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: Lo! thou art of those reprieved 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 Except Thy servants from among them, the purified ones. 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
