And recite to them the story of Ibrahim. 69 when he asked his father and his people: "What do you worship?" 70 They said: We worship idols, and are ever devoted unto them. 71 He asked: "Do they hear you when you call them 72 "Or do they benefit you or harm you?" 73 They answered: "No; but we found our forefathers doing so." 74 He said, "Do you see these - whom you worship?" 75 you and your forefathers -- 76 "For they are enemies to me; not so the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds; 77 He created me and He will guide me. 78 Who gives me food and drink, 79 and when I fall ill, is the One who restores me to health, 80 who makes me to die, then gives me life, 81 And Who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgment. 82 O Lord, give me wisdom and admit me among the righteous, 83 give me a good name among later generations; 84 And make me of the heirs of the garden of bliss 85 And forgive my father. Lo! he is of those who err. 86 Do not degrade me on the Day when they are resurrected. 87 on the Day of Judgment when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 When Paradise shall be brought near to the God-fearing 90 And Hell is brought near to the perverse' 91 They will be asked: "Where are those you worshipped 92 Beside Allah? Can they succour you or succour themselves? 93 Then they shall be hurled therein, they and the seduced ones. 94 and the hosts of iblis all together. 95 "Quarrelling therein with each other, 96 By Allah, of a truth we were in error manifest 97 When we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 It was the evildoers who led us astray, 99 So now we have no intercessors 100 Nor a true friend; 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 And indeed your Lord - only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
