Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that their heads are forced up (and they cannot see). 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
