So did you observe him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
