۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and a station noble. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 In the meantime We made the others approach that place. 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
