The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 What, of all creation will you go to (fornicate with) the males, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Lot, thou shalt assuredly be one of the expelled.' 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 [And then he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Save me and my household from all that they are doing!" 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 by pouring upon them a terrible shower of rain. How evil was the rain for those who had been warned! 173 Surely in this there is a sign: but most of them would not believe: 174 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 175
