Al-Mu' minoon 5 of 6
He it is Who hath created for you ears and eyes and hearts. Small thanks give ye! 78 And it is He Who has spread you in the earth, and towards Him you are to be raised. 79 And it is He who gives life and causes death, and His is the alternation of the night and the day. Then will you not reason? 80 On the contrary, they said the same as what the former people used to say. 81 They said, 'What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be indeed raised up? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will surely say: God's. Say thou: will ye not then heed? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Great Throne' 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge? 88 They will say, "[All belongs] to Allah." Say, "Then how are you deluded?" 89 Aye! We have brought them the truth and verily they are the liars. 90 Allah hath not betaken to Himself any son, and there is not along Him any god; else each god would have gone off with that which he had created, and one of them would have exalted himself above the others. Hallowed be Allah above that which they ascribe! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
