۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. 63 Then We brought the two parties closer. 64 and We delivered Moses and his companions, all of them, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
