The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
