But they did not listen to me," Noah said, "and followed him whose wealth and children only added to his ruin. 21 and who have devised a most awesome blasphemy [against Thee,] 22 And said: 'Do not abandon your gods, and do not abandon Wadda or Suwa', or Yaghuth, Ya'uq or Nasr.' 23 And they have led many astray. (Noah supplicated saying): 'Allah, do not increase the harmdoers except in error' 24 And so, because of their sins, they were drowned [in the great flood,] and were doomed to suffer the fire [of the hereafter]; and they found none who could succour them against God. 25 Noah said: "O Lord, do not leave a single habitation of unbelievers on the earth. 26 Verily if Thou shouldst leave them, they will mislead Thine bondmen and will beget not save sinning infidels, 27 My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and him who entereth my house believing, and believing men and believing women, and increase not the wrong-doers in aught save ruin. 28

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
