Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 watching over you 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
