Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 This alone is revealed to me, that I am only a clear warner.' 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 [Iblees] said, "By your might, I will surely mislead them all 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
