Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and, We have covered them so that they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
