3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 "Then what is your idea about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 "While Allah has created you and what you make!" 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 And they designed a snare for him, but We made them the undermost. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 Indeed, this was the clear trial. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be unto Ibrahim: 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
