Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 So that we should glorify Thee much, 33 "And remember You much, 34 Lo! Thou art ever Seeing us. 35 He said: You are indeed granted your petition, O Musa 36 And certainly We bestowed on you a favor at another time; 37 When we inspired in thy mother that which is inspired, 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 when thy sister went out, saying, "Shall I point you to one to have charge of him?" So We returned thee to thy mother that she might rejoice, and not sorrow. Then thou slewest; a living soul, and We delivered thee out of grief, and We tried thee with many trials. Many years among the people of Midian thou didst sojourn, then camest hither, Moses, according to a decree. 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
