But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 and by what you do not see, 39 Behold, this [Qur'an] is indeed the [inspired] word of a noble apostle, 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe. 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
