Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 and the partitioners, 4 Verily that which ye are promised is true; 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 It will be on the day when they will be roasted in the fire. 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and fresh springs of water, 15 Accepting the rewards given by their Lord; they were indeed virtuous before this. 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23
