He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for he who thinks himself without need, 5 To him dost thou attend; 6 though you are not to be blamed if he would not purify himself -- 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And hath fear, 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 (and whoso wills, shall remember it) 12 (Contained) in honoured pages, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 (Written) by the hands of scribes- 15 Noble, virtuous. 16 [But only too often] man destroys himself: how stubbornly does he deny the truth! 17 Out of what did Allah create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 then eased his path for him, 20 Then He causes him to die, and puts him in his grave; 21 Then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 And We split the earth in fragments, 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 And grapes and herbage 28 And olive-trees and palm-trees 29 And garden-closes of thick foliage 30 And fruits and herbage: 31 all this as a provision for you and your cattle. 32 At length, when there comes the Deafening Noise,- 33 On the Day a man will flee from his brother 34 his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his sons: 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Many faces will that day be bright, 38 laughing, and rejoicing, 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 Those are the disbelievers, the wicked. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
