The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Then those that produce fire striking, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
