The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
