The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the great event comes to pass, 1 And there can be no denying of its befalling. 2 some shall be abased and others exalted. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 those are they brought near (to their Lord) 11 In gardens of tranquility; 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On lined couches, 15 Reclining face to face. 16 immortal youths going round about them 17 with goblets and ewers and a cup filled with a drink drawn from a running spring, 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will hear no nonsense there or talk of sin, 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 NOW AS FOR those who have attained to righteousness - what of those who have attained to righteousness? 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and extended shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And made them virginal, 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
