VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 and they will be told to enter there in peace and safety. 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They (the angels) said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners). 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
