The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
When the sun is covered, 1 And when the stars fall, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 and when she-camels big with young, about to give birth, are left untended, 4 when the savage beasts shall be mustered, 5 when the seas shall be set boiling, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 For what sin she was slain. 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 And when the heaven shall be stripped, 11 when Hell shall be set blazing, 12 when Paradise shall be brought nigh, 13 Every soul shall (then) know what it has prepared. 14 So I swear by the retreating stars - 15 Go straight, or hide; 16 The closing night, 17 And by the dawn as it brightens; 18 This is indeed the recitation of an honoured Noble Messenger. (Angel Jibreel – peace and blessings be upon him.) 19 [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], 20 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; 21 (O people of Makkah), your companion is not mad; 22 And without doubt he saw him in the clear horizon. 23 And he is of the unseen not a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is this the word of an outcast devil. 25 where then are you going? 26 That is but an advice to the entire creation! 27 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. 28 but your wishing will not avail unless Allah, the Lord of the Universe, so wishes. 29
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
