We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
