The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the chargers panting, 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
