The people of Nuh rejected the apostles. 105 When their fellowman Nooh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
