Truly it is the revelation of the Lord of all Being, 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In plain Arabic language. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it to enter into the hearts of the guilty. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 and then they will exclaim, "Could we have a respite?" 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 of what avail will be the provisions of life which they have been granted to enjoy? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 And [this divine writ is such a reminder:] no evil spirits have brought it down: 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Hence, [O man,] do not invoke any other deity side by side with God, lest thou find thyself among those who are made to suffer [on Judgment Day]. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely thou upon the Mighty, the Merciful. 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
