To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They denied all Our signs, We therefore seized them – the seizure of the Most Honourable, the All Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
