We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
