It is God who has created ears, eyes, and hearts for you. Little are the thanks that you give. 78 And He it is Who multiplied you in the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered. 79 And He it is Who quickeneth and causeth to die, and His is the alternation of night and day; will ye not then reflect? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: "It is Allah's!" Say: "Will you not then remember?" 85 Say: Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty dominion? 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say, "In whose hands lies sovereignty over all things, protecting all, while none can seek protection against Him? Tell me, if you have any knowledge." 88 They will surely say: "(The dominion over all things) belongs to Allah." Say: "Whence are you then deluded?" 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 Allah has not chosen any child, nor any other God along with Him – were it so, each God would have taken away its creation, and each one would certainly wish superiority over the other; Purity is to Allah above all the matters they fabricate. 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
