Said [Moses]: "O my Sustainer! Open up my heart [to Thy light,] 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech, 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 And let him share my task, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 Verily, You have always watched over us." 35 (Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!" 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 I have chosen you for My service. 41 Go thou and thy brother with My signs, and slacken not in remembrance of Mine. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." 44 They said: "O our Lord, we are really frightened lest he behave insolently with us or become violent." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So go you both to Pharaoh, and say, "We are the Messengers of thy Lord, so send forth with us the Children of Israel and chastise them not; we have brought thee a sign from thy Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 It is He who has made for you the earth as a cradle and threaded roads for you and sends down water from the sky with which We bring forth every kind of plant. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
