The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
