To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 Those cities We relate to thee tidings of; their Messengers came to them with the clear signs, but they were not the ones to believe in that they had cried lies before; so God seals the hearts of the unbelievers. 101 We did not find many among them keeping their promises. However, We did find many evil-doers among them. 102 Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters. 103 And Moses said, "O Pharaoh, I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds 104 [Who is] obligated not to say about Allah except the truth. I have come to you with clear evidence from your Lord, so send with me the Children of Israel." 105 Said [Pharaoh]: "If thou hast come with a sign, produce it - if thou art a man of truth!" 106 Thereupon he cast down his rod, when, lo it was a serpent manifest. 107 And he drew forth his hand (from his bosom), and lo! it was white for the beholders. 108
