Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 O my Lord, put me not among the people of the evildoers.' 94 And indeed We are Able to show you the promise they are given. 95 Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe. 96 And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils, 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 That I may work righteously in that which I have left. By no means! It is but a word he uttereth; and before them is a barrier until the Day when they shall be raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And as for him whose good deeds are light, these are they who shall have lost their souls, abiding in hell 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: Our Lord! Our evil fortune conquered us, and we were erring folk. 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He (Allah) will say: "What number of years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?" 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King! there is no god but he, Lord of the Throne honoured. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
