And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
