Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 Then those charging in the morning 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
