SAY: "Call upon those [beings] whom you imagine [to be endowed with divine powers] beside God: they have not an atom's weight of power either in the heavens or on earth, nor have they any share in [governing] either, nor does He [choose to] have any helper from among them." 22 No intercession avails with Him except his He allows, so that when their hearts are freed of fear, they ask (one another): "What did your Lord say?" They will answer: "What is expedient. He is the all-mighty and supreme." 23 ۞ Say: 'Who provides for you from the heavens and earth' Say: 'Allah' Surely, either we or you are rightly guided or in clear error. 24 Say thou: ye will not be questioned about that which we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about that which ye work. 25 Say: Our Lord will gather us together, then will He judge between us with the truth; and He is the greatest Judge, the All-knowing. 26 Say thou: show me those whom ye have joined with Him as associates. By no means! Aye! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 (O Prophet), We have not sent you forth but as a herald of good news and a warner for all mankind. But most people do not know. 28 They ask you: “When will this promise (of Resurrection) be fulfilled, if what you say is true?” 29 Say, "A Day has already been appointed for you which you can neither delay nor advance by a single moment." 30
