The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the snorting, panting horses, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 Surely he is passionate in his love for good things. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
