Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 till you reached the grave. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You have indeed to behold Hell; 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the sight of certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
