And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
