The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
I CALL THE night to witness when it covers over, 1 by the day when it appears radiant, 2 and by that (Power) which created the male and female, 3 Certainly, your efforts and deeds are diverse (different in aims and purposes); 4 Then as for him who gives away and guards (against evil), 5 And believed the best matter to be true 6 We shall facilitate for him the Way to Bliss. 7 As for him who was a miser and behaved with aversion (to Allah), 8 and he belied the finest 9 For him We shall ease the way of adversity, 10 And what will his wealth avail him when he falls? 11 Surely, it is for Us to provide guidance -- 12 And truly, unto Us (belong) the last (Hereafter) and the first (this world). 13 So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing. 14 None shall enter it but the most unhappy, 15 Who had denied and turned away. 16 The pious ones will be safe from this fire 17 Who giveth away his substance that he may be cleansed, 18 And have in their minds no favour from anyone for which a reward is expected in return, 19 only seeking the Face of his Lord the Most High; 20 He surely will be pleased (when he will enter Paradise). 21
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
